FOURTH GRADE (please label with your child's name):

SIXTH GRADE

  • Headphones or Earbuds - A pair that will remain in the classroom, so they will be available whenever we need them.  (Avoid high-end, high-fidelity, costly choices!  These will be stored in the classroom, so don’t bring exclusive, diamond-encrusted, gold plated, fancy equipment!  Just a simple pair will be great.) 
  • Small pencil case
  • Pencil sharpener (The simplest, old-fashioned ones with no power or fancy parts!  Indestructible! Easy! Cheap!)
  • Folder For school to home items

Math 

  • (1)  5 Subject Notebook
  • Folder
  • To keep at home: ruler, protractor, calculator, graph paper

Reading

  • 5 Subject Notebook
  • Folder

Writing

  • (1) Composition notebook  (Sewn binding; not a spiral notebook) 
  • Folder 

Castaldo's homeroom students only:

  • 2 composition notebooks (reading/writing)
  • 3 1-subject notebooks (either spiral or composition)

SEVENTH GRADE:

  • 2 marble composition notebooks (no spirals) 

Social Studies:

  • 3-ring binder (1.5-inch width)
  • 2-pocket folder

Science:

  • 1 5-subject science notebook (Preferable so ALL work for the year is in one place) OR a marble notebook  
  • 2-pocket plastic folder 
  • Metric ruler

Math:

  • 3-ring binder (1-inch width) 
  • Set of dividers (Only need 3) -  1. Notes 2.  Worksheets    3.  Tests/Quizzes
  • TI-30XIIs scientific calculator (labeled with name)
  • Pencil Case – (Preferably one that goes right into a 3-ring binder)

 Spanish: 

  • Headphones or Earbuds
  • Index cards 
  • One Composition notebook (if student decides to do classwork on paper)
  • Highlighter (color is up to the student)
  • Daily charged Chromebook (teacher will not provide chargers)

ELA:

  • folder with pockets
  • 2 marble composition notebooks (no spirals)

Social Studies: 

  • 3-ring binder (1 - 1 1/2 inch binder (three-ring)
  • 2-pocket folder

 Science:

  • 1 5-subject science notebook (Preferable so ALL work for the year is in one place) OR a marble notebook  
  • 2-pocket plastic folder
  • Metric ruler 

Math:

  • 3-ring binder (3-inch width)
  • graph paper
  • Calculator, labeled with your name:
  • For 8th grade math: TI-30XIIS scientific calculator (don't need to buy new if you have yours from last year).    For Algebra students: TI-84 Plus (or) TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition graphing calculator (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
