Public Attendance at Board Meetings Begins Monday, June 14th
Dear GWL Community:
I am very pleased to announce that GWLUFSD's Board of Education will return to holding their monthly Board business meetings in person and will allow the public to attend in person as well. Individuals who attend in person must follow the current CoVid protocols.
That said, the Board has heard from many community members that they have enjoyed being able to watch live from the comfort of their home. Therefore, the meetings will still be streamed live online. The link will be available on our website prior to each meeting. Later, the full video will be posted to our YouTube account and linked within BoardDocs, the software we use for Board meeting agendas and minutes.
If a community member cannot attend in person but would like to have their voice heard during public comments for that meeting, please email the Board Clerk, Mary DePietro (firstname.lastname@example.org), with your name, address, and your comments by 12 pm on the day of the meeting. Your comment will then be read aloud during that portion of the meeting. If you'd like to make a comment live in person, you are welcome to attend the public meeting.
Thank you and we are excited to take this next step back toward our traditional meeting format.
