Community Letter 2 -28-21

Dear Greenwood Lake Community,

Late yesterday evening, the District learned that a member of the 12-month District staff tested positive for COVID-19 based on diagnostic tests. First contacts of this individual have already been notified. Each positive case serves as an important reminder that we can help stop the spread by following the guidance of the state and local health departments. The most important things you can do: • Make sure your child is wearing a mask. • Make sure your child washes hands frequently. • Keep your child home if they are sick. • Call your primary care provider if you or your child has symptoms. Again, thank you for understanding that, due to medical privacy laws, we are not able to release the name of the individual diagnosed with CoVid-19. We will continue to communicate changes and updates with you. We wish a speedy recovery to each of our CoVid-19 positive District and community members.

Sarah Hadden, Supt of Schools
