Today, our district learned that a staff member who works at our Middle School tested positive for COVID-19 based on a diagnostic test administered earlier this morning. The individual that tested positive was exposed on Saturday and is currently asymptomatic. Today, Governor Cuomo announced that all NY schools will be closed through the end of the academic school year, meaning June. Just like many of you I'm sure, my head knows this was the right decision, but my heart is aching. Our staff, our students, our families - we are all missing out on so much. As a District, we are now faced with planning remote instruction for the remainder of the school year. This weekend, I will be sending out surveys to hear how remote learning is going for your children and we will be using that feedback to READ MORE
