  • Monday, May 16 -- District Dismissing One Hour Early

    Due to anticipated storms, Greenwood Lake Elementary School and Middle School will dismiss one hour early. Middle School dismissing at 1:30 and Elementary School dismissing at 2:30. ALL AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ARE CANCELLED. Please make arrangements to be at your child's bus stop one hour earlier than normal or pick them up one hour earlier if you regularly pick up. If you wish to change your child's end of day arrangements, please contact the main office of their school as soon as possible.

  • PTSA In-Person Candidate Forum - Monday, May 16th - Cancelled Due to Impending Bad Weather.

    The PTSA In-Person Board candidate forum this evening has been canceled. Instead, on the PTSA FaceBook page, there will be a form for submitting questions for the candidates. The PTSA will choose 3-5 questions that the candidates will then answer in writing. Their responses will be publicly shared tomorrow morning.

  • May 17, 2022 Proposed Capital Project

    On the ballot on Tuesday, May 17th, 2022, GWLUFSD will have a proposed capital project up for community consideration. The project mainly addresses infrastructure improvements at both of our school buildings. The project would be fully funded using reserves, at no additional cost to taxpayers.   • Masks Optional in School and on Buses - 3/2/22

    Beginning 3/2/22, the wearing of a face mask will officially become parental choice / personal choice for all aspects of the school day – in our school building and on our school buses. We aim to have as normal school day as possible, with the utmost care and respect given to every individual. Staff will not ask any student to wear a mask.  Reminder for parents who wish for their child to continue to wear a mask: As soon as possible, please inform the child’s homeroom teacher and school principal via email that you would prefer your child still wear a mask.
