Meet the Teacher
As a teacher for six years at PS 51, The Elias Howe School, in New York City, I have worked in General Education and Inclusive Co-Teaching settings. I started teaching in a 3rd grade inclusion classroom and have taught grades 4 and 5 since then. Most of my teaching career was spent in a 5th grade inclusion classroom where I taught reading, writing, math, s.s. and science to my students.

Description of Supports
As an inclusion and support teacher I provide academic intervention to students while enrolled in mainstream classes. In addition, I follow and apply the classroom and testing accommodations as stated on the student’s IEP or 504.
As the RtI (response to intervention) support I provide additional reading instruction to students who are struggling in this area. I also use assessment results to direct my instruction and target their individual learning needs.
I am so grateful to be a part of the Greenwood Lake Middle School community and to have the opportunity to work with your children. Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns, as I encourage keeping an open line of communication.
Please send me a brief email with your name and your child’s name for my records at firstname.lastname@example.org!
~Thank you and I look forward to a wonderful year with you and your children~
