The Greenwood Lake Union Free School District is committed to providing a safe and efficient transportation program.  Our buses travel 1345 miles each day to transport our 720 students to Greenwood Lake Elementary School, Greenwood Lake Middle School, The Warwick Valley High School, Chester Academy, Orange Ulster BOCES, Rockland BOCES and several other private schools.

If Greenwood Lake UFSD is closed, but the school your child attends is delayed or open, transportation will NOT be provided by the district.  This includes Warwick HS, Chester Academy, BOCES, and any private/parochial schools.  It is the decision and responsibility of the parent to transport their child to/from school that day.
