Welcome to Greenwood Lake UFSD, the PreK through eighth grade district that is Orange County’s best kept secret! We serve students from the Village of Greenwood Lake and portions of the Town of Warwick in two schools – Greenwood Lake Elementary (PreK-3^rd) and Greenwood Lake Middle (4^th-8^th). For high school, our students have a choice of either Chester Academy or Warwick Valley High School.

 

We pride ourselves on providing a well-rounded experience to all students. Some program highlights include:

·      Project Lead the Way, beginning in kindergarten

·      Spanish, beginning in kindergarten

·      Musical instruments provided to students

·      Before and After School Club Offerings

·      Modified Athletic Program, gr 7&8

·      Heggerty Phonemic Awareness

·      Singapore-based Math instruction

Being the Superintendent for this District is incredibly rewarding – the tightknit faculty, staff, and community a key element in what makes our schools so special.
