8th-grade Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty trip

The 8th-grade class embarked on a profoundly educational and memorable journey to two of America's most iconic landmarks, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. This trip provided students with a powerful, firsthand experience of the history of immigration, freedom, and the American identity.

7th Grade Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk Class Trip

This trip offers a chance for students to experience the marine environment and conservation efforts focused on Long Island Sound and the surrounding waters, with a focus on learning about the diverse marine life of Long Island Sound, ocean health, and maritime history. Some key exhibits and encounters include seeing over 7,500 animals, and visiting multiple touch tanks where students can safely touch animals like cownose rays, Atlantic sturgeon, moon jellies, and intertidal creatures (crabs, sea stars, etc.).

American Museum of Natural History

The 6th Grade class trip to the American Museum of Natural History is an immersive educational experience that brings science, history, and anthropology to life. Students explored over 40 permanent halls, saw world-famous exhibits, and engaged with topics that align directly with science and social studies curricula.

The kindergarten class took a trip to Pennings Orchard , a key part of the Pennings family farm in Warwick, NY, which offers class trips centered around seasonal agriculture, hands-on activities, and farm life. The primary focus is on the fall harvest season.

The Ashokan Field Trip was a unique blend of education, adventure, and camaraderie, leaving our 6th students with a lasting appreciation for the environment and a sense of connection to the natural world.

The Sterling Hill Mining Museum offers a variety of educational experiences, ranging from general public tours to specialized class instruction for both K-12 students and college-level groups.

The museum's educational programs primarily focus on geology, mineralogy, ore deposit formation, and the history and technology of industrial process technology and mining. They emphasize a hands-on approach to learning about Earth sciences and the responsible use of nonrenewable resources
